Senator Max Baucus announced the head of software giant Oracle will headline the Montana Economic Development Summit.
Oracle moved into Montana back in 2011 when it purchased RightNow Technologies.
RightNow runs a cloud based customer service platform with more than 380,000 clients, including all hundred Fortune 100 companies.
Baucus told us Oracle President and CEO Safra Catz decided to make Bozeman its cloud finance hub after learning about the community.
"She is high on Right Now, she is high on Bozeman, she is high on Montana and its going to provide many more jobs at Oracle, formerly RightNow Technologies, than they have in the past and she is pretty excited to explain why they are doing that," explains Senator Max Baucus.
Senator Baucus stopped in Bozeman, Tuesday, for his Montana Solutions Jobs Tour.
The tour is an effort to find ways to bring more high paying jobs to the state.
Baucus' sixth annual Montana Jobs and Economic Summit is scheduled for September 16th and 17th in Butte.
