MISSOULA, Mont. -

Oula was created by Kali Lindner during her senior year at the University of Montana.

It was a way for her to combine exercise fitness with the spirituality she felt from Yoga. She calls its followers "Oulagins."

The dance fitness program has become a western sensation as it has swept Montana, Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Today Oulagins stretch as far south as Mexico.

The movement does not seem to be slowing down.

"We're going to have filming of different classes," co-owner Crystal Smith told NBC Montana. "The idea is that before, geographically, we can go from Missoula to XYZ Timbuktu, they can go online through our website and they can take classes in their living room, they can take classes from wherever they are."

Every class that takes place during opening week is free to anyone who wants to try it out.

You can sign up for a class, or just learn more at their website, oulafitness.com
