A deadly crash in Glacier County takes the life of a 16 year old boy and injures 3 others.
Montana Highway Patrol dispatch says the one vehicle crash happened near mile marker 109 on Highway 89 near Browning. They confirmed that speed and alcohol were both factors.
Dispatch says a 16 year old boy from Browning was driving the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix when it left the roadway, launched off the approach, flew 108 feet, proceeded over the ditch, over corrected, and rolled two and a half times.
The driver was uninjured and reportedly arrested on charges related to the crash. One passenger, a 16 year old male from Browning, was pronounced dead on scene. Three other passengers, a 15 year old male, a 16 year old female, and a 16 year old male all from Browning, were injured and transported to Indian Health Services in Browning. None of them were wearing seat belts.
