MISSOULA, Mont. -

200 volunteers served on Friday in Missoula’s 7th annual Project Homeless Connect.

First United Methodist Church hosted the one-stop shop for low-income community members, with more than a dozen stations providing free haircuts, legal advice, a place to have coats and blankets patched. There was even a station for pet supplies and food.

In the first couple hours after starting, we’re told more than 150 people had already passed through the stations.

"I think a day that would be really successful is if we set this event up and nobody showed up,” said Media Coordinator Michael Moore. “I think that would be a real success. It's great that we can provide these services; it would be great if we didn't have to."
