BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A motion-activated camera placed above the ceiling tiles of a twice-burglarized Belgrade pharmacy led to the arrest of a suspect.

33-year-old Nicholas Bryan Dawson pleaded not guilty Wednesday to three counts of burglary in the theft of narcotics from Lee and Dad's IGA in Belgrade. He also denied charges of possession of dangerous drugs. He remains jailed on $100,000 bail.

Court records say employees of Lee and Dad's IGA reported the theft of several bottles of controlled drugs from the pharmacy on Feb. 8 and March 11. Video surveillance showed the suspect entered the business by removing a ceiling tile.

Belgrade police monitoring the motion-activated surveillance feed on March 18 spotted a flashlight in the area above the pharmacy. Responding officers learned the getaway vehicle belonged to Dawson.
