Blood on towel that of missing Anaconda woman
Police in Anaconda say a towel found in a garbage can in Anaconda contained the blood of a 41-year-old woman who was last seen on Dec. 23.
Police Chief Tim Barkell told The Montana Standard (http://bit.ly/T50vaR ) that other items found in black garbage bags, including strands of hair and bloodied throw rugs, are still being analyzed at the state crime lab in Missoula.
Family members reported Tammy Salle missing on Dec. 26. Her boyfriend, John Goldberg, told police they had a fight three days earlier and she left. Offices found Goldberg dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his pickup truck at a truck stop near Missoula on Dec. 29. Officials said a suicide note made no mention of Salle's fate.
Salle's family held a celebration of life ceremony over the weekend.
