Bozeman wins the brawl of the wild, not just in football but in food as well.
This year the rivalry competition collected a total of over 144,000 pounds of food.
86,957 pounds came from Bozeman, while Missoula brought 57,957 pounds to the table.
The Missoula Food Bank says although it is technically a loss, 15 tons of physical food will be put on the Missoula food bank shelves.
“That food goes to help families in need,” Jessica Allred, community relations director, says, “and with holiday seasons coming up that makes everyone a winner.”
