Chief Executive: Butte animal control officer arrested for DUI no longer with county
Butte-Silver Bow Chief Executive Matt Vincent released a statement late Monday saying animal control officer Charlie Dick is no longer employed by the county.
Police arrested Dick after a neighbor told a homeowner he saw a damaged county truck driven by Dick next to a damaged fence on the 6100 block of Albany street.
Police say when they found him at the animal control office he refused to take a breath test.
In a news release, Chief Executive Matt Vincent reiterated that this is being handled as a personnel matter and that no other details will be released.
Court records say Dick pleaded not guilty to second offense DUI.
