Christmas tree lots open for business
With Thanksgiving behind us many people are looking forward to the Christmas season, and for a lot of folks this means it’s time to pick out the family Christmas tree.
Tree lots are popping up all over Missoula and they're filled with trees ready to be taken home and decorated for the holiday season.
Steve Adams, owner of Adams Ranch and Tree, says him and his wife have been running a tree lot in the Rosauers parking lot for over 30 years.
Adams says for him it’s not about profit, it's about that magical holiday feeling you get while picking out the perfect tree with your family.
“We've been in business over 30-some years now and we truly have customers from the very first year that have been here,” said Adams. “Actually now their kids and their grandkids are buying trees from us too.”
Adams says every year his business sells about 4,000 trees to folks in the Missoula community.
“It’s very rewarding to see people come in, pick a tree and be so joyous about it,” said Adams. “It’s a thrilling time of year.”
The Adams tree lot is open in the Rosauers parking lot daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Christmas Eve.
