Murder charge dropped against Lincoln County man
COLUMBIA FALLS, Mont. -

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry has identified the man who died in a car wreck in Columbia Falls on Sunday morning. Curry says Michael Koskela, aged 50, died in the crash on Blackmer Lane.

Troopers say Koskela’s vehicle drifted off the right side of the road, and he overcorrected. The vehicle struck a fence, and continued through a yard and stuck three trees. Koskela was partially ejected from the vehicle, and was not wearing a seatbelt. Troopers say speed is considered a factor.

Road conditions were described as “bare and dry” during the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
