Columbia Falls restaurant hosts benefit for Taylor's Last Wish
COLUMBIA FALLS, Mont. -

Supporters from all over the Flathead gathered Sunday morning in Columbia Falls to rally behind 17-year-old Taylor Peterson and her fight against cancer. The Columbia Falls student has been battling jaw cancer for a year and a half and recently found out it was no longer treatable.

Tien's Place Oriental Dining hosted an all-day benefit in Peterson's honor. Folks were lined up as early as 9:00am to kick off the event. Waiters and waitresses volunteered their time and donated their tips. Funds raised from the event are going towards a trip to Hawaii, Peterson's last wish.

"I'm overwhelmed," said Maureen Windauer of Tien's Place. "So many people and everyone coming and helping. It's awesome."

Anyone looking to help out the Peterson's can visit Parkside Federal Credit Union and donate under the Taylor Peterson Cancer Fund or pay a visit to an online auction that is running until Friday, December 7th.
