Flathead woman sentenced for tampering with evidence
KALISPELL, Mont. -

A Flathead woman was given an eight year suspended sentence on Thursday for tampering with evidence. Prosecutors say Lynn Harmon’s brother David Carr broke into a woman’s apartment and stabbed her in the neck.  Carr later allegedly went to Harmon’s residence.

According to court records, Harmon threw Carr’s bloody clothes in a dumpster, cleaned a knife with alcohol and swabs and buried it in Evergreen. Harmon faced up to ten years in prison for the offense.
