Friends, family of missing Frenchtown man plead for help
MISSOULA, Mont. -

27-year-old Joshua Carter went missing late Friday night after leaving the Frenchtown Club west of Missoula around midnight. Friends say they watched him drive away on the Frenchtown Frontage Road, but haven’t seen or heard from him since.

Jake Hensley, a bartender at the Frenchtown Club, told us that Carter’s roommate thought he would be back at their apartment Friday night but he never showed up. Hensley said Carter has a distinguishable truck that he thinks people would recognize.

“The possibility that maybe he went cruising in the woods and wrecked, that could be there, but there's a lot of people in the woods this time of year,” said Hensley. “I couldn't foresee him taking off and driving miles and miles into the woods at that time of night anyways.”

Carter is 27-years-old, 5-foot-11 and 225 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt with dull black writing on it, and a yellow, black and white "CAT" hat. Carter drives a yellow 1974 one-ton Ford flatbed pickup with license plate number 4-34237A.

Family and friends are desperate to find Carter. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts please call Missoula County Sheriff’s dispatch at (406) 258-3452.
