Gallatin County Sheriff's Office requests help finding missing man

Missing man Wilkins
BOZEMAN, Mont. -

The following is a news release from the Gallatin County Sheriff's office.

"The family of Richard Eugene Wilkins and the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your assistance in an attempt to locate Richard Wilkins who is reported as a missing and endangered person.

Wilkins last talked to his wife on January 7, 2013 at approximately 10:41 PM.  Wilkins has not spoken with or been seen by any family members since that time.

Wilkins is described as 47 years of age with a date of birth of 4/15/65. 

He is 6’00 tall and weighs approximately 180 lbs.  It is not known what he is wearing.  It is believed he is driving a 2003 Chevrolet Impala silver in color, with a Montana license plate 6C65976. 

Wilkins does not have his cell phone with him and his wife reports he has no cash and he has not accessed their bank accounts to withdraw money. 

Anyone with information on the possible whereabouts of Richard Wilkins is asked to call the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 582-2100 #2.
