Good news for the Gallatin Valley -- recent real estate numbers point to an improving housing market.
According to real estate website trulia.com, the median sales price for Bozeman homes between August and October was $209,380. That's a reported increase of 21.5 percent over 2011.
The average price per square foot was $109 -- an increase of 38 percent compared to the same period last year.
A similar story is unfolding in Belgrade, where the median sales price between August and October was $190,000 -- a growth of 9.5 percent since 2011.
The average price per square foot there was $106. That's an increase of 60 percent over last year.
