A Pennsylvania man who used a Bozeman address to buy resident Montana hunting licenses in four counties to kill big game has been fined $5,180.
The Independent Record reports that 29-year-old John Feucht of Camp Hill, Pa., pleaded guilty to various charges in Lewis and Clark County, Park County, Gallatin County and Missoula County.
Montana officials say they traveled to Pennsylvania as part of their investigation after receiving a tip about possible illegal activities, some occurring in 2010.
Along with the fines, Feucht is banned from hunting, fishing and trapping for 24 months in Montana and the 38 other states taking part in the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact.
