Pine Creek Fire Fundraiser
BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Musician and Livingston area resident John Mayer is organizing a benefit concert to help raise money for local wildfire relief.

On Mayer's Facebook page, he says he wants to thank the firefighters who battled this summer's Pine Creek blaze, which destroyed thousands of acres and five home.

“Without the tireless effort and dedication of the firefighters of the Pine Creek Fire, many more homes and memories would have been destroyed, mine among them," he said. " I wasn’t in town when the fire broke out and I’ve always wished I could do my part to help, the way so many in the community did. Putting on a concert to raise some money for the departments is the least I can do for a town and a community that has welcomed me with open arms.”

The concert will feature performances by Mayer, Zac Brown and Clay Cook of Zac Brown Band, David Ryan Harris, Sean Hurley and Aaron Sterling.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, December 15. Prices range from $100 to $250, and all money raised will go to the Park County Community Foundation, which helps respond to local wildfires.
