Kalispell Ski Club hosts swap and sale
KALISPELL, Mont. -

In the latest sign that the winter ski season is well on its way, the Kalispell Ski Club held its annual Ski Swap and Sale on Sunday. Customers perused new and used skis, snowboards, bindings, boots and more. Money from the event went to the club’s Youth Learn to Ski program.

A Columbia Falls woman named Pam Robinson was also at the event. She was there raising awareness of her nonprofit, called the Aaron Robinson Plant a Seed Foundation. The goal of the nonprofit is to teach local underprivileged youth how to snowboard.

Pam’s son Aaron Robinson died in the summer of 2011 while in Chile. He was there to teach underprivileged kids how to snowboard.

Pam was also showing folks a K-2 snowboard the company made as a tribute to Aaron. The board sells at a discount price, and some of the money goes to the program. Folks looking for more information can call Pam at 250-2440.

“My big thing is just don’t forget my kid. To me that’s the most important thing,” said Robinson.
