A man is in jail after leading Montana Highway Patrol on a high-speed chase Sunday afternoon.
MHP Sergeant Pat McCarthy tells us a citizen called to complain a driver made a bad pass on I-90 on Sunday afternoon, near the town of Manhattan.
Troopers caught up with the vehicle and tried to it pull over, but Sgt. McCarthy said the car took off, driving upwards of 100 miles an hour.
He said troopers eventually got in front of the car and threw down stop sticks. But the driver stopped on his own.
MHP conducted a high-risk traffic stop- meaning troopers had guns pulled on the driver.
They arrested John-Carlo De Guzman, and according to jail records, found drugs and drug paraphernalia in De Guzman's car.
De Guzman was booked on a number of charges, and no bond.
