Reserve Street Wreck 01-13
MISSOULA, Mont. -

The Missoula County Sheriff's Department has released the name of the man who died in a Reserve Street crash, Sunday.

34-year-old Corwin Cornelius of Ronan died Sunday from injuries in crash.

Missoula Police said the call came in around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, after a van traveling north on the Reserve Street Bridge crossed over and was hit by two vehicles in the south bounds lanes.

Police said each car was occupied by only a driver, and that all three were taken to the hospital with injuries. Cornelius was driving the van that crossed into oncoming traffic, and died in the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Traffic was completely closed in the south bound lanes of Reserve for about two hours while officers investigated and the vehicles were towed. The north bound side of the bridge was limited to one lane of traffic.

Police said the cause of the wreck is still under investigation, but that slick roads may have had something to do with it. It was seven degrees at the time of the accident.
