Missoula, Mt. -

The Missoula Fairgrounds completed a parking lot project that began over a year ago.

The Missoula Area Youth Hockey Association (MAYHA) partnered with the Missoula County board of Commissioners to reconstruct the Glacier Ice Rink parking lot. The dirt parking lot was paved and painted for optimal parking space and ease of access.

County funds were also used for reconstructing the fairgrounds' Russell Street entrance. The entrance was widened by 20 feet, allowing for three vehicles to easily enter and exit the fairgrounds.

A large black gate is adorned with colorful flags to give the fairgrounds a cleaner and more festive look from the outside.
