Missoulians may soon get a chance to see and taste what happens when the city's four breweries work together on a beer.
The Missoula County Tavern Association is in on it too, and the proceeds will help feed Montana families during the holidays.
It's called the Garden City Community Brew. Draught Works Brewery is hosting the first one next week.
“The four breweries are getting together, creating a recipe, we'll all brew it together here, next Wednesday,” said Draught Works owner Jeff Grant. “Then we're going to release that to 20 participating taverns in Missoula. They'll get a keg each, and those tavern owners are going to donate $100 per keg to the Missoula Food Bank."
The Garden City Community Brew starts at 8 a.m. on December 5.
Grant said the beer, a new black IPA, should be on tap at Missoula bars by December 21.
