The Missoula Symphony Orchestra will give its last performance of the season this weekend.
After a record year for ticket sales, selling out every performance, Darko Butorac is showcasing world renowned solo violinist, Lindsay Deutsch.
Deutsch will duel the orchestra with her violin in a tango piece called Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, by Astor Piazzolla.
She is a classical violinist by profession, but enjoys more modern performances, which she says brings in a younger crowd.
Deutsch and her sister started a nonprofit called Classics Alive in Los Angeles, California.
It’s dedicated to building classical music audiences.
She says the ticket sales in Missoula are inspiring.
“To be able to come to a town like Missoula and see that there is in fact going to be, not only a full house one night, but two nights in a row is unbelievable. Because there's just nothing worse, you go out and there's just like three people there and, ugh, no."
Tickets are sold at the box office from noon to show time. They can also be purchased by going to their website, missoulasymphony.org or call 721-3194,
Sunday's performance will be held in the Dennison Theatre on the University of Montana Campus at three pm.
