Montana veterans are making sure they have a presence in Washington, D.C. for Veterans Day next month - even if they can't be there in person.
On Thursday a group of vets gathered at the state's Vietnam Veterans memorial in Missoula to read the name of every Montana veteran who died in Vietnam.
They recorded the reading, and plan to send it to our nation's capital, where the recording will be played during Veterans Day ceremonies there on November 11.
"It's important to remember those folks,” said Veteran Larry Anderson. “The World War II veterans are dying off. The Korean veterans are dying off. So we've got to make sure that we commemorate every Veterans Day for those veterans that have served."
