New company brings jobs to Butte

BUTTE, Mont. -

According to a news release on Marketwire, a Florida CEO is forming an new company in Butte, J3 Advanced Engineering Technologies.

The release says James Fallacaro, President of Global Technologies Group Inc., wanted to have a presence in Butte to continue previous work with chemists, engineers and support staff.

J3 will be working on a chemical process for bonding heavy metals for clean up and remediation work.

The company will lease 8,800 sq.ft. of space from Montana Tech.  About half of that will be labs and offices, the other half will a test bay.

Mr. Fallacaro had originally been working on another deal in Butte, says he walked away from it last November.

NBC Montana learned from Fallacaro that the company will open for business next week with 5 full time employees,  They company is to hire 5 more employees within a month.

Fallacaro says he's invested $100,000 in the venture.
