Investigators released the name of the 26-year old man who died after being hit on Reserve Street.

Timothy Montgomery moved to Missoula 9 months ago from Chicago.

The Missoula Police Department is conducting the crash investigation.

Missoula Police Sgt. Collin Rose says the man was hit about 9 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Reserve Street and River Road.

The man was transported to a Missoula hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the 23-year-old driver of the pickup submitted to a drug evaluation and blood test.
