Prince Charles' artwork appears in Missoula
MISSOULA, Mont. -

A few pieces of Royal Art has found its way to Missoula, Montana.

The collector's resale show at the Dana Gallery in downtown features work from a guy named Charles Windsor. He's better known as Charles, the Prince of Wales.

That's right. Prince Charles has three lithographs in the show, priced at $1,900 each.

The gallery's dealer obtained the works from a private collection.

"He's very worldly," said gallery director Liz Wetherby, of the prince. "One of the talents is his painting and these were lithographs that he did of original water colors of royal properties."

The final bidding event for the lithographs and dozens of other pieces at Dana Gallery is Friday, March 8. The gallery has collected  works from all over the world.

There is a Russian icon piece from the 17th century, some carvings from China, photographs from Ansel Adams, and reams of work from well known regional artists.
