Nearly 100 aspiring hockey players got to lessons from a retired NHL pro at a hockey clinic in Missoula Saturday.
Glacier Ice rink hosted the clinic, and former Washington Capitals player Brendan Witt, who recently moved with his family to the Bitterroot Valley, was there to lend his expertise.
Witt also helped bring in a $10,000 donation of hockey equipment from the NHL Players Association.
"It reminds me of me being a kid and having fun, and that's what it's all about,” said Witt. “I was just fortunate enough to do it for a living and get paid very well, and I’m just trying to give back to the community, and it's all about having fun here today."
