A Somers man accused of going on a late night shooting spree appeared in court Thursday morning. Christopher Cassidy pled not guilty to criminal endangerment and criminal manufacture of dangerous drugs, both felonies.
Investigators say Cassidy forced an overnight standoff in early February when he fired off multiple guns outside of his Somers Road home. Once arrested, deputies got a search warrant and said they found 86 marijuana plants in his basement.
If convicted on both charges, Cassidy faces up to 20 years in prison.
