Suspsects in church burglaries appear in court

Three young suspects in a string of Missoula church burglaries appeared in court Monday.

Twenty-year-old Drake Anthony Hotsel, 19-year-old Jon Philip Worcester and 19-year-old MacKenzie Rae Culp were arrested last week,

Prosecutors allege Culp drove the car in several of the burglaries.

Both Hotzel and Worchester were on probation as co-defendants in another felony theft.

Several churches were burglarized and vandalized through November and December.

Cash and church items were stolen.

Investigators said they found stolen church items in a storage unit rented by two of the defendants.

Bail for Hostel and Worchester was set at $75,000.

Bail for Culp was set at $5,000.
