EVERGREEN, Mont. -

A two-car wreck northeast of Kalispell near the intersection of Highway 2 and Rose Crossing sent three individuals to the hospital Friday evening.

MHP Trooper John Underwood says a 73-year-old Kalispell woman traveling northbound on Highway 2 East failed to yield at a red light. Her Jeep broadsided a white pickup truck that was heading west on Rose Crossing while the light was green. The pickup rolled on to its side, trapping the 61-year-old female driver from Whitefish.

Emergency crews had to extricate the Whitefish resident out of her vehicle. She was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Jeep, as well as her 6-year-old passenger, were also taken to KRMC. We're told their injuries are non-life-threatening.
