Administrative Support / Front Desk
Job Description: Primary responsibility is to provide general office support including processing and distributing mail to appropriate individual/department and processing outgoing mail and overnight packages. Manage office supply inventory including ordering general office and printer supplies. This position will also coordinate maintenance and other services for our company cellular phones with our phone provider. The company will look to this position to also provide administrative support and coverage with other departments including station management, accounting, traffic, sales and promotion/marketing. Duties will include but are not limited to light accounting duties as assigned by Controller including process of month end invoices and statements, process and filing of accounts payable invoices and log reconciliation. Position will be responsive to station management administrative requests for correspondence and reporting. Position will have some responsibility to maintaining the station(s) public file. Position will also learn and support traffic operations including maintenance of the station’s PSA/Promotion library, log fill, log preparation and copy. Position will also assist Director of Marketing with various community programs and campaigns. Position is located at front desk and will answer and distribute calls received through the general number as well as greeting and helping visitors and vendors.
Qualifications: Candidate will need to have minimum of high school diploma with some college preferred. Must possess work history as administrative or accounting support and/or receptionist of at least one year needed. Professional appearance and pleasant and outgoing demean required. Strong work ethic and willingness to step up and help out when and where needed. Successful candidate will be computer literate with ability to learn new systems and procedures. Experience in data entry beneficial. Good organization skills needed.
