BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A Belgrade native is looking to buy a car after winning more than $22,000 in a grocery store sweepstakes.

CJ Williams entered Albertsons Best Road Trip. Ever! contest on a whim.  Contestants were tasked with writing a story by captioning four ordinary grocery store products. Williams tells us he likes to write but creating the story wasn't easy. He says he shuffled through products until he found items he could work with.

Williams says he had all but forgotten about the contest until he got a call last Monday saying he was the winner. He says he's been smiling ever since.

"I'm still in shock. I really can't believe this is all happening and it really couldn't have happened at a better time because my girlfriend and I both had our cars in the shop and we've been having nothing but car problems lately," explains Williams.

With each entry the prize money increased until it finally reached the jackpot of $22,200, the cost of a baseline 2014 Ford Mustang. Williams says he'll probably buy a Honda.

He says his first job was at the Jackrabbit Lane Albertsons when he was a teenager.
