BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Five candidates are seeking one of the two seats on the Bozeman city commission. Wednesday afternoon we talked to Chris Mehl. Mehl has already served a term on the commission and is now seeking re-election.

He tells is the most exciting part of the race is knocking on doors and getting to meet people. Mehl says Bozeman is growing, and he wants to continue to ensure it is an attractive place for people and businesses.

Mehl tells us he decided he was going to run again in January, and feels there is still work he needs to accomplish on the commission.

"Bozeman is doing pretty well, but we can't take that for granted. We have a high quality of life here, but we are also growing. We want to have a say in how we grow, make sure that we maintain that quality while also being attractive to businesses," said Mehl.

If you would like to meet the candidates yourself, you can on October 22. The forum begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
