BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A group of Bozeman High Schoolers and students from MSU say they have a voice and, Saturday, they used it to show their support for marriage equality.

Organizers say they see a lot of folks getting involved in online activism via social media and say they wanted to take it a step further by putting it into action.

They say, as soon as they posted the march on social media websites, they immediately got an overwhelming response from young people wanting to participate.

"The point we're trying to show is that Bozeman, especially the youth of Bozeman, support marriage equality and that this is something that is going to happen in our lifetime and in our generation," says organizer and Bozeman High School student Carl Swanson.

Coordinators tell us the topic of marriage equality is a timely issue but say, through the march they hope other young folks will realize they also have a voice and can use it to send whatever messages are important to them.
