Business leaders are venting their frustration about how the nation's health overhaul has disrupted their insurance coverage or left them facing increased costs.
Participants selected by the Montana Chamber of Commerce voiced their complaints Monday at a forum with U.S. Rep. Steve Daines.
They included late notice of a discontinued plan that left Montana Independent Bankers Association members scrambling for new coverage and unexpected fees for which the Montana Contractors Association hadn't budgeted.
Daines says he has heard hundreds of similar stories around Montana.
Christina Goe (GO) is general counsel for state Insurance Commissioner Monica Lindeen. She says there is a long way to go before a proper assessment of the health-care law can be made. She says there are also many positive stories about people receiving lower rates.
