Butte man gets 10 years for fatal crash
A Butte man is headed to prison for killing another man, after he crashed into a motorist while racing and texting down Harrison avenue.
67-year old J. R. Hollingsworth received 10 years with 5 years suspended in District Court Thursday, and was ordered to pay the victim's family more than $300,000.
Hollingsworth killed 74-year old Forrest Felton when he ran a red light and slammed into Felton's car last August.
District Judge Kurt Krueger said Hollingsworth showed no remorse for his actions.
