MISSOULA, Mont. -

A Canadian man was killed in a semi wreck Sunday morning near Butte.

Montana Highway Patrol troopers tell us the semi-truck driver, a Canadian man in his late sixties, was killed after his truck drove down into the median, eventually jumping a frontage road and landing between two bridge decks.

Troopers tell us the man was driving north on Interstate 15, near mile marker 99 --  just 10 minutes south of Butte when his vehicle went off the road missing a curve.

Troopers say they do not believe the wreck was caused by bad weather.  They say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The name of the semi-truck driver has not yet been released.
