BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Officials with the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office tell NBC Montana a high speed chase ends in a foot pursuit west of N. 7th Avenue.

On Thursday afternoon, Lieutenant Arlyn Greydanus with the Sheriff's Office said it all started around 11 a.m.  A caller said they recognized a man seen in a surveillance photo aired on the news.  Greydanus says the caller spotted the man at the Home Depot parking lot off of 19th Street.

Officers ran the license plate, finding the vehicle was reported stolen from Kansas.

When the officers arrived at the scene and approached the vehicle, it took off, leading officials on a short car chase. Police say the vehicle crashed, and a man and woman then took off on foot. The pursuit ended on foot near Baxter Street, west of N. 7th Avenue.

The names of the suspects are not being released yet. Greydanus tells us they believe the suspects are tied to a Belgrade home burglary reported earlier this week.
