BOZEMAN, Mont. -

The following is a press release from Summit Air Ambulance:

"A celebration of Summit Air Ambulance pilot Todd Hanawalt’s life will be held Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Summit Air Ambulance hangar at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. The street address is 200 Gallatin Field Road, Belgrade, MT, 59714.

All of Todd’s colleagues from EMS agencies, ambulance services, fire service, law enforcement and other public service agencies are invited to attend as we remember our fallen brother.

Carpooling is suggested where possible, as parking may be limited.  Every effort will be made to provide appropriate parking arrangements for on-duty emergency vehicles."

Hanawalt died last weekend while a helicopter he was surveying power lines in for another company crashed.

His coworkers remember him as active in the community, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
