Crash knocks out power to part of Butte

BUTTE, Mont. -

NorthWestern Energy says about a 2,200 customers lost power after a car hit a power pole.

According to the company's Facebook page a car hit pole in the area of Motor Vue and Ram.  The crash caused a pole to fall in to a transmission line.

The area affected covered south of I-90 at Montana Street to Motor Vue and west of Rowe Rd.

Crews on scene tell NBC Montana power to all customers had been restored by around 1:00 p.m.
