Airport Director Cris Jensen announced today that Delta Air Lines will debut new daily non-stop seasonal service from Missoula International Airport (MSO) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) December 21 - 23, 2013 and December 26, 2013 - January 5, 2014. Tickets for the non-stop service can be purchased online at Delta.com or by calling 1.800.221.1212. (One-stop service is available December 24, 2013 and December 25, 2013.)
“We’re pleased to announce the new non-stop service for the holidays,” stated Jensen. “This seasonal service will provide convenient access to one of our most popular destinations and open up numerous connection opportunities. We expect it to be extremely popular with travelers.”
The service, operated by SkyWest Airlines, will depart from Missoula at 12:40 p.m. MT and arrive in Los Angeles at 2:12 p.m. PST. The return service will depart Los Angeles at 8:30 a.m. PST and arrive in Missoula at 12:06 p.m. MT.
Jensen added, “Our staff is continuing our focus on attracting new air service to the Airport.” Currently four airlines, Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, and United, have operations at Missoula International Airport. Nonstop service is offered to twelve destinations: Atlanta*, Chicago*, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles*, Minneapolis, Oakland, Phoenix-Mesa, Portland*, Salt Lake City, San Francisco*, and Seattle.
