Driver charged in fatal rollover
A 20-year-old Twin Bridges man faces a vehicular homicide charge for a September rollover crash that killed a man who was riding in the back of his pickup truck.
Tanner Wesley Eggers is scheduled to appear in court in Virginia City on Monday.
Prosecutors say Eggers' blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit at about 3 a.m. on Sept. 8 when he failed to negotiate a turn west of Twin Bridges. His pickup went off the road and rolled, throwing 19-year-old Michael Pfertsh out of the back of the truck. Pfertsh was pinned beneath the truck and died at the scene.
