BOZEMAN, Mont. -

Family and friends remembered Summit Air Ambulance pilot Todd Hanawalt, Saturday. Hanawalt died when his helicopter crashed near Thompson Falls on July 27th.

The Summit Air Ambulance team sounded an alarm- a last call, requesting Hanawalt report to a family ranch.

His colleagues handed off his helmet and one pilot took it on-board a helicopter for a flyover.

Family remembered Hanawalt as a friend to all. They say he lived a life of adventure and touched many hearts.

"He was a man of integrity. Everyone who ever came into contact with Todd, knew he was a man of integrity. He was also a man without guile," says Todd's father Mark Hanawalt.

Hanawalt was 35 years old.
