Frenchtown moms accused of being drunk while caregiving their children
MISSOULA, Mont. -

Two mothers are accused of being drunk while they were sole caregivers of their infant children. Police said the women were three times the legal limit while caring for their babies at a residence near Frenchtown.

Police arrested Carli Allen Capaul and Ashley Nichole Schoch at a Frenchtown residence early Tuesday morning.

A man told police the women assaulted him and tore his shirt. He told them there were two babies inside the house.

The court report said a baby boy was in a swing in the living room, and the infant girl was sleeping in a crib. Neither child suffered injuries.

Both women pleaded not guilty.

Bail for Capaul was set at $2,500. Schoch made bail.

Both women must wear alcohol monitors.
