Garden City Brewfest turns 21, now serving wine
The Garden City Brew Fest turns 21 today.
The festival showcased more beers than ever, and the all new wine garden.
Volunteers worked through the morning to set the stage for the largest festival of brewers in Montana.
There are twelve Montana breweries represented at the festival today.
Some new arrivals include Elsian, a brewery out of Seattle, and the Chicago based goose island brew.
The beers were judged by the zoo city Zimmergists to declare the best brew of the year.
"They have the best job, maybe of all,” says Melanie Brock, director of the downtown association. “They've been tasting all of the beers, and they do a very strict criteria of judging to pick the winners."
Brew fest partnered with mountain line to offer free transportation all over the city.
They're certainly doing their part to make sure everybody drinks responsibly during the largest brew fest in Montana.
