GLACIER OPEN HOUSE
KALISPELL, Mont. -

Glacier National Park is seeking comments and input from the public on what should be done to the Going-to-the-Sun Road.

The park held the first of four public forums where anyone is invited to come and discuss ideas and suggestions they have for future renovations to the Going-to-the-Sun Road corridor.

The open houses include maps and posters explaining the current state of the park as well as facts about the current state of the road.

Acting park superintendent Kym Hall encourages anyone who has any input to come to the open houses to let their voice be heard.

“We know again folks have a real passion for Glacier and they have a lot of creative ideas,” Hall said.  “Many folks have lived around here for generations so they've seen the ebb and flow of how Glacier works.”

The park's next open house is Tuesday, June 25 in Missoula at Ruby's Inn and Convention Center from 4 to 7 p.m.
