HELENA, Mont. -

The executive director of the state agency that manages its public pension systems is retiring under an agreement that calls for the state to pay her pension and health care benefits through June 2015.

The agreement between Roxanne Minnehan and the Montana Public Employees' Retirement Board was reached Thursday. It comes two months after the board reinstated Minnehan after she was put on paid leave for two weeks.

Board President Scott Moore of Miles City said in October that Minnehan was placed on leave over concerns with workplace issues. Two weeks later the board reinstated her, saying there were never any allegations of any "improprieties."

Department of Administration attorney Marjorie Thomas says the agreement calls for Minnehan to retire a month after her replacement is hired.
