SULA, Mont. -

Montana Highway Patrol troopers have confirmed that a woman, apparently in her 30s, was Life Flighted following a vehicle collision at East Fork Road and Highway 93 in Sula, near the Sula store. Troopers say a vehicle turned left in front of an oncoming vehicle.

Troopers say a man, apparently in his 30s, was also transported to a hospital. Troopers say both patients were traveling in the vehicle that reportedly hit the turning car.

Troopers tell NBC Montana that the man was extricated from a vehicle using the jaws of life. Their car is registered out of Helena.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident, and the extent of the patients' injuries are not known at this time.
