TOWNSEND, Mont -

A vigil was held Saturday evening in memory of 18-year-old Dakota Kimbrough.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the football player at Broadwater High School has died and three other players were injured when their pickup went off the road and rolled.

Authorities say the 15-year-old driver of the 1976 Ford pickup on Friday afternoon was heading west on South Ray Creek Road in Broadwater County in western Montana when he lost control.

Authorities say two players were ejected and the 18-year-old died at the scene. The other passengers were ages 15 and 16.

Authorities say the driver and two passengers were taken to Broadwater Health Center in Townsend with non-life-threatening injuries. Montana Highway Patrol troopers say they are still investigating the crash.

Broadwater High School in Townsend canceled the football game Friday evening as well as homecoming activities. A cross-country meet and volleyball matches set for Saturday were also  canceled.
